ICPHSO in Florida
The ICPSC and its Members were very much in evidence during the recent ICPHSO meeting in Orlando. The ICPSC met itself on the Tuesday. The ICPSC members heard reports on progress with the tracking and traceability project and on the product alignment initiative (PAI). The meeting also featured a major session on forecasting. This exercise has been designed to help the ICPSC and its members identify priorities for closer collaboration in the short to medium term. Issues on legislative programmes around the world and emerging issues have been identified. The scope of the activity has also been extended to market surveillance activities, research and standards related activities. The ICPSC will hold its next meeting as part of the International Product Safety Week in October in Brussels which will also feature the next European meeting of ICPHSO.
